[TORONTO, ON] – October 13, 2020 – Backwoods Promotions was named a winner of a People’s Choice Stevie® Award for Favorite Companies in The 17th Annual International Business Awards® today, in the Diversified Services award category.

The International Business Awards are the world’s premier business awards program. All organizations worldwide are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.

The winners of the crystal People’s Choice Stevie Awards will be celebrated during a virtual awards ceremony for the 2020 IBAs on Tuesday, 1 December.

The People’s Choice Stevie Awards for Favorite Companies are an annual feature of The International Business Awards. The worldwide public vote was conducted over the past month, with the highest number of votes deciding the winners in a variety of industry categories. More than 43,000 votes were cast. To win, a category’s leading vote-getter had to receive at least 100 votes.

All organizations honored in the IBA’s Company of the Year categories were included in people’s choice voting.

More than 3,800 nominations were submitted to this year’s International Business Awards by organizations in more than 60 nations and territories, for consideration in a wide range of categories. These categories included: New Product or Service of the Year, Most Innovative Company of the Year, Management Team of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Startup of the Year and Executive of the Year, among others.

"We would like to congratulate all of those who were nominated and won a Peoples Choice Stevie® Award. This is an incredible honor for us to win in this category, given our work within several niche areas within the staffing industry. We look forward to celebrating with other honorees during the awards ceremony in December," says CEO of Backwoods Promotions, Jessica Kline.

“The winners of the People’s Choice Stevie Awards were able to activate and motivate their customers, employees, social media followers and other constituents to vote for them, and that is a testament to the healthy ties they have to those audiences,” said Stevie Awards president Maggie Gallagher.
