Over the course of ten days, racing enthusiasts descend to the desert to check out racing action involving UTV’s, trophy trucks, dirt bikes, ultra-customed 4400 race cars and more. The hub of King of the Hammers, named “Hammertown” offers attendees access to vendors, a main stage, food, and lots of action to check out.  

The Can-Am UTV King of the Hammers race is scheduled for Thursday this year, and is sure to be a great race. What is the cost to attend King of the Hammers? 

The cost is only $30 to attend King of the Hammers (for adults), the cost for children to attend is $20. That includes general admission and all race events! General admission does not include Hammertown Access (anyone accessing Hammertown is required to obtain an access ticket and show proof of a negative COVID test). To purchase tickets or camping permits ($25), click here. 

 

Do I need a COVID test to watch King of the Hammers? 

Recently updated, organizers have advised that COVID tests are NOT required to watch King of the Hammers. Health screening will be completed at the welcome gate (consisting of symptom checks & temperature checks). However, in order to access Hammertown, all teams, vendors, media, staff and volunteers need to show proof of a negative COVID test taken seven days prior to arrival. At-home tests can be mailed out or attendees can arrange for their own test through their primary care provider. Alternatively, onsite COVID-19 tests will be available for $20, at request.

King of the Hammers is located in Johnson Valley, CA. The closest towns are Yucca Valley (32 miles), Big Bear (40 miles), Victorville (45 miles) and Twentynine Palms (50 miles).
