Hay Days Grass Drags

Hay Days Grass Drags is the unofficial start of winter and the snowmobile season, and it gives snowmobile enthusiasts across North America and beyond something to look forward to while waiting for the snow to fly. Hosted by the Sno Barons Snowmobile Club in North Branch, Minn., this year marked the 53rd anniversary of the world’s largest snowmobile and powersports swap event.

Since 2014, Backwoods Promotions has provided event staff, brand ambassadors and promotional models to companies at Hay Days Grass Drags, and we have quickly become the largest provider of outsourced staff for this event.

This year we continued our ongoing relationships with Ski-Doo, Fox Factory Inc., Michelob Golden Light and Backcountry Motorsports Media, while building new relationships with KLIM and Octane Ink. With numerous staff at this event throughout the weekend, it sure was a busy, but exciting two days as our team members worked hard to ensure the event was a success for our clients.

From the Ski-Doo ‘No Bull’ Bull Riding contest, to the KLIM ‘Ultimate Warrior Challenge’, plus great deals on Fox merchandise and sled wraps at Octane Ink, it was a successful weekend across the board. Check out some of these fun pictures we took throughout this weekend:

Sturgis Here We Come!

Bikes are in our blood – our CEO rides, many of our staff ride, and that’s how we roll. Since 2014, our team members have attended the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally working for various clients promoting the products we all love. This year, our presence is larger than ever with close to a dozen team members working with Fox Factory, Inc. and Budweiser.

This year marks the 78th year that bikers have taken over the small city in South Dakota. Population 6,800 quickly grows to half a million as the normally quiet town transforms with the sounds of noisy exhausts, revving engines (how about that Harley-Davidson Milwaukee-Eight?!), squealing tires from burnouts, and of course epic concerts. This year Eric Church, Kid Rock, Foreigner, and Lynyrd Skynyrd headline at the Buffalo Chip.

If you’re headed to Sturgis make sure you stop by the Fox booth to get new shocks installed, or for a chance to win some great prizes during daily contests. The Fox promo girls will be on hand selling merchandise, handing out stickers and posing for pictures.

Also, don’t miss the Bud girls as they take over Sturgis, traveling from bar to bar throughout the week. They will be handing out promo items, posing for pictures and promoting America’s favorite beer!

We wish everyone traveling to Sturgis a safe ride and fun week, and look forward to sharing pictures and updates as the week progresses!
